This is a shorter book but I know that I really enjoyed it as reading it went quick but it was absolutely smutty and spicy goodness. Quinlan is a curvy woman and this one really hit home because my body image is not something I like but reading about a curvy character and how hot the male companion Joker thought she was made me feel so much better about my size. Joker is a masked streamer who also plays video games and does other more interesting things such as taking donations to say things because people like his voice. He takes her into his streaming. He met her and based on how she was dressed he assumed a couple of things about her but once she took off her jacket he realized she had sleeves of tattoos. She then asks him if he has any of his own which he answers yes he does but he does not tell her what they are as they can be used to identify him as he is a masked streamer. Quinlan also gives him a run down of the other tattoos she has. One of the first things I highlighted in this book was the thought from Joker “But i couldn’t stop thinking about her arms and legs tied to the bed, her body open and waiting for me. Or maybe her on her hands and knees, a collar around that pretty petite neck, following me around like a good girl. Her mouth wrapped around my cock. That ass painted red from my toys.” This quote had an impact on me the first time I read this book and still to this day it leads to butterflies. Also the last couple of years I realized like a lot of women I have a mask-kink and this book plays into that so hard and I fucking love it. The next time I find myself highlighting he asks Quinlan if she wants to play a game with him and she while unsure at first but agrees. He asks if she is going to be a good girl from him and she doesn’t answer so he tells her he asked a question and that he didn’t want to repeat himself. She stays quiet and he of course asks her the same question and with wide eyes she says yes sir. Once again this was another one of those things that made me feel butterflies as he was just giving into all of her and she was giving into him at this point. Their dynamic gets so much sexy as the book continues and I fucking love the dynamic of their relationship! He tells her his name instead of the screen name. His name is Jack and she knew because of the NDAs but she respected those. One of the hottest things in this book is him being straightforward and asking for her consent. This is so hot considering the fact that this book is so fast paced so seeing him take that control over that is nice. Jack makes her beg to cum. So she does and he says of course you can cum my sweet little slut. Holy shit I find myself reading that line and god the things I picture in my head damn am I just unpure? Fuck yeah I am why would I want to be pure when there are books like the ones in this series. You’ve got no idea what I am talking about until you finally find that niche and the things that really make you feel some type of way as you read them. As the wife of a gamer myself I have found myself wondering what it would be like to give him some support from under the desk. She brings up to him to put her down as he carries her to the pool as she is not light and he tells her to shut the fuck up as she is beautiful. As some who struggles with body image this once again was one of those lines that made me feel some type of way because he straight up told her that she was beautiful. Also one of the first books I read from the male perspective and let me just say holy fuck is that not absolutely fucking tasty. She gets to dance with his group of friends and part of me was like damn if this was a Reverse Harem but I really do love her character with Jack. This is a super fast paced relationship in this book but for the characters it works out beautiful. They know what they are looking for and they know when they find it in one another. This of course is the end of this review but let me tell you that the author of the series will be an author I will always support and read anything she puts out! But let me tell you that this may be a shorter book but I loved every second reading it for a second time! This is the first review where I really let myself outside the box to talk about the book and what I enjoyed out of it. I will be reading the secrets we keep again as well simply to just give a review and because I love these books so any reason to reread them.
