Now this series was one of the first smut style books I picked up. I honestly enjoyed this series so much. It gave SOA feels but I honestly loved this so much because it gave me so much to think about and we got to see a relationship grow through an entire series. I loved each of the characters and each one has a very important place in my library. Of course we are reading it again to prepare for the new one that comes out soon. So I am going to work on my reviews for each book please bare with me as I write the reviews as I read. So here we go again. First a few warnings: Age gap, teacher student relationship with this specific book. That being said this was one of my favorite series for smut as well as the relationships of the characters. This is the book where we meet Mute and I honestly was not prepared for his character. I love this series and it is one I will recommend to anyone looking for a good series to read or even just looking to start reading smut. This is one of the first series I read when I started discovering my love of reading again. I hope that you all enjoy this series as much as I personally do. I hope you enjoy this review.

The two main characters in this story are Cressida Irons and King Kyle Garro. Cressida is a teacher at the school where King starts attending. The first time they see one another is 3 months earlier in a grocery store parking lot. Cressida begins her teaching job after she tells William she wanted to leave him. Cressida was married to William when she was 18 and he was 36 she fell in love with him when she said that she had always known William and he was something she fantasized about but in reality he didn't live up to those fantasies. So when Cressida comes home after the encounter with King in the parking lot she goes through her regular routine of telling him she's home. She gives him a Blowjob and he practically pushes her off because he sees sex as a task with a purpose. This is where we see Cress finally decide it just isn't enough anymore. She is 26 when she finally decides to leave him and she starts her position as a teacher. Now back to present day in the story Cress is at her teaching position when there is talk of a new student who is the son of the president of the Fallen Men MC. Cress made a friend while teaching named Rainbow Lee. Now Rainbow is a character I found it hard not to love. She is sarcastic and the kind of friend who you love to have. Of course Tayline is there too, these three women as the friends that they are make me so jealous because they are so great together. Watching Cressida's character develop around the women made this friendship one I will always look to when I need to think if it's the right place to be. Tayline is seeing one of the bikers we finally get their story soon. Cressida sees King from across the bar and he mouths for her to come and he walks out the back door and she follows and they finally speak for the first time. He invites her for a ride and they spend time just talking and getting to know one another. I highlighted a lot in this book we are gonna talk about some of the thing that were worth the highlight in my opinion. The first thing I highlighted was from Tayline. "A man without respect for the law is not a man without respect for anything. All that intensity, that devotion, is channeled toward other things, mostly their people; the brotherhood, family, and their women. You can't experience anything like that until you've had it." This is the first line that had me by the throat because I felt so many things because the statement itself has a lot of meaning. Because family and relationships should be respected and when you think about it in these books you see this further respect and deeper connection than you see with a lot of romantic movies and in real life. Cressida has help from the fallen men to work on her house. Not that she invited them they just show up with King after Nova takes her home from school. She has food she was cooking and uses it to feed the men who took the time to help her. Zeus (King's dad) tells her he has no problem with their relationship. That night when all the men leave King and Cress have their first real smutty sexy moment. Cressida freaks out because she thinks King sees her as a slut but he explains he doesn't see her like that and he finds her sexy and that he was just enjoying what she was doing to him. Cressida wakes up in the morning King still in her bed he asks if she is enjoying the view and she says she might as well enjoy the view if she is going to hell because she sees their relationship as wrong. He tells her purity is a social trap. We now come to another part where I highlighted and it quotes "Happiness is streaking bare-assed naked down the wet sand into the waves, it's drinking too much and laughing' to loud with your friends, it's loving so hard you want to devour the flesh, soul, and mind of another person. None of that is fuckin' pure and all of it is fuckin' sublime." This right here to me was one of the hardest things to read because it was always forced in my head that if it doesn't seem pure you probably shouldn't do it. This quote is something I read over and something that filled my heart with so much excitement for what was going to happen for Cressida and King. Something he says on the same page was "You just need to live and love without guilt and I swear to you, you'll leave the world a better place than you entered it. "This is something I have to remind myself because I live in guilt and it hurts who I am as a person more often than not. William shows up at her house after she and King spend the morning in the best way possible. William brings along her parents and I feel like I could never hate characters as much as I hate her parents they are the absolute worst. Zeus, King and Harleigh Rose show up not long after her family gets there as William thinks she is dating Zeus. Cressida tells them how it is and they leave and she cries about how it went and King comforts her. She and King then have another moment of pure and wonderful sex and his family waits downstairs with them. They talk about having family dinner on that Sunday with H.R. and Zeus. King finally convinces her to give it a try and she ten goes shopping with the old ladies of te men in that are in the club. They start talking about how Cressida is considered a cougar and how King wants to sex her up. H.R. tells them to rein in their inner pervert because that is her brother they are talking about. Cressida brings up how that Sunday was the best Sunday that she had. H.R. tells her everything she can about the fallen. I honestly love H.R. as a character because she is out here looking for the best in everyone if she can find it. They call a fashion 9-1-fuckin'-1 because Cressida needs an outfit for the Fallen party to introduce her to the fallen as well as begin the the beginning of springbreak. Cressida meets the biker babes at the Revved & Ready shop and to her surprise she sees Tayline in the group with the women. Tayline is another teacher and so Cressida is worried about how that will turn out but Tayline talks about how King is going to wear her down until she finally lets him in. Tayline tells Cressida she understood why and she wanted her to know that this might not be happily ever after and Cressida says she understands that. Tayline brings up that Cressida would not be risking her career if she didn't think they were going to last. She has a girls night and this makes me so happy because we get to see more of her character in a natural light. Cressida talks about how she loves her new nontraditional family and loves her students and that King is like her own personal Satan convincing her to live. King meet Lysander and help get him a job all because King sees how much Sander means to Cressida. This is something I wish she didn't care for as much but I also know why she cares about her brother so much. King fixes up Cressida car and explains that he fixed up the car to make it safer for her. She at first doesn't take it well but she apologizes and when she realizes he is mad at her and won't talk Skell suggests she give him a blow job. She doesn't do that but when they get into English class together he answers a question while she plays with herself under her desk. He finishes her off and he licks her cum off his fingers. the students leave and Cressida starts detention with King and once again he makes her cum. He then tells her that night he'd be the teacher and she the student. He tells her to wear pigtails, knee socks, white panties and a skirt. She sasses and asks him if he wants it to be plaid. While they are fooling around in her classroom. They hear something what they hear is Benny one of Cressida's students dealing with an overdose. King and Cressida help to save him before the ambulance gets there. Carson who is also a student is the one who gave him the drugs because they were hooking up. Cressida goes to the hospital and waits for Benny to wake up. Later there is a town meeting about the overdose and the mayor blames the Fallen for this. Later that night Cressida gives into King's fantasy and dresses up and plays the student. She then has a conversation with King about her thinking he would get tired of her. Then we finally get to the cook out. At this cookout we see Cress take steps to finally defend her relationship with King. We meet Paula and older woman bragging about teaching King how to please a woman. Cressida knew he had been with other women but he was hers and she was not going to let this woman disrespect him. She and Paula get into it and King breaks it up. Paula is escorted from the party. Then Cressida and King go and have a moment where he asks her why she can tell everyone else how she feels about him but not him. This leads to her telling him how she feels and then we get yet another amazing smut scene. We then run into Lysander again who is being really sketchy at the party. We then meet the nightstalkers which god they are the enemy and they show it. A few days later we see King and Cressida go out to the bar and they share a moment in the bathroom. King then goes out alone and gets beaten up by the nightstalkers. This is where Cressida ends it again as she says she can not be strong enough to help him through that. We then go a couple more days and he is arrested for having drugs in his locker. Cressida then goes to see the headmaster about what is going on and he drops the bomb on her that he knows she and King were seeing each other. This is something that irritates me beyond belief because King is 18 and at this point she is not seeing him and she had called it off. She then quits and goes to see King in jail. They talk and he takes her back. We then see Cressida called into the police station to be asked some questions about William. She then tells the officer that she does not trust the police officers because they had let her down more than once. King gets out of jail but not before Cressida gets kidnapped. This is where I am ending this review I don't want to spoil the ending but let me tell you this series is an emotional roller coaster and you will see me go through all of it.
