I wanted to love this one I really did. The first thing that really threw me off is Olive’S meeting the random guy in the bathroom who then turns into Professor “Doctor” Adam Carlsen. I really thought it was going to be someone who just helps her realize that it this is what she wants then she should go for it. But In reality it was him and he watched her from that point on until Olive kissed him to convince her friend Anh to date Olive’s ex. Now I’m all for fake dating and I’m all for them falling in love while doing so. But Olive basically admits she’s in love with him for him to be behind her and think she’s talking about her ex. I had a pure hatred for Tom Adam’s friend from the get go because I just had that gut feeling he was trash. Now everyone said this book was but for me it was very slow and I put it down quite a few times and considered Dnfing. It was a slow burn but for me it just wasn’t what I was looking for. I’m happy for the Happily ever after but I would have been okay if it hadn’t ended that way. This was just a hard one for me to read because I just was not into it so far it is the lowest ranking book on books for the year. This is just one I didn't care for so the review is shorter again as it was written for instagram and I just don't have it in me to reread this one right now.
