One of us is lying. This was one of the first hard back books I read for the year. This book was great the characters where as follows Addy, Nate, Cooper, Broywn and Simon. This book had me in a choke hold until I finished it. I have started reading the sequel but its a bit farther down my TBR right now. I had a very hard time putting the book down because I didn't want to miss anything. I wanted to know everything the book had to offer to me. This book got 4 stars out of 5 and it was really close to the 5 stars.

4 out of 5 stars

I really enjoyed the turns this book took. I like to be left wondering and this did just that for me. I was wondering why this happened or that happened. Browyn's relationship with Nate was something I didn't expect due to the nature of their characters. I realized how much I enjoyed their relationship because the more I read the more interested I got in seeing a relationship between a super straight and narrow character to be with a character who was constantly getting into trouble. Addy's relationship at the beginning was something I truthfully disliked. The more I read about this relationship the more I realized why I disliked it. Addy did not deserve the hell she was put through. Yes she cheated and no that was not okay. But The male character she was dating was in the wrong to he knew she cheated and continued to string her along to turn all of her friends against her. Cooper now this one was rough to even really read. He was the character who I felt bad for in more ways than one. He was gay and he was dating a girl who didn't know and neither did his parents. When the secrets come out we watch as his character receives so much hate for being who he was meant to be. Now on to my least favorite character if all...Simon. God I really wanted to not hate this character I really wanted him to redeem himself or something to make it make sense why he did what he did. In reality he faked his murder and committed Suicide because he knew every secret the people in the room had and he was using this as a way to frame this for his Murder even though this was just his way of going out with a bang as he said. Loved the book and truthfully glad I picked it up.

In all I really enjoyed this book and it is one I see myself rereading. This is one of my shorter reviews but they will get longer I promise.
